Mold remediation

EPA-protocol containment. No shortcuts.

We follow EPA and IICRC S520 protocols. Containment, negative-air, HEPA removal. We test the air twice before we hand the room back.

How a mold remediation job actually runs

  1. Containment

Plastic sheeting seals the affected area. A negative-air machine vents outside so spores don't migrate. Setup happens before any cutting starts.

  2. Removal

Mold-affected drywall and porous materials come out into sealed waste bags. EPA / IICRC S520 protocol the whole way.

  3. HEPA vacuuming

Stud bays and surfaces get HEPA-vacuumed to remove residual spores. Anything that touched the contaminated area gets the same treatment.

  4. Antimicrobial encapsulant

An encapsulant seals the remaining framing so anything we couldn't remove is locked in place. Last step before containment comes down.

  5. Clearance

Post-remediation air sample, taken on a calibrated pump after containment is removed. If it passes, the room is yours. If not, we go again.
